This site presents two bodies of work (2003-04)
"In memoriam" and "Biorama #…". The first uses digital enlargements of photographs from my family's archive with encaustic collages to describe the loss of my heritage that shapes my life's creative psychology. Biorama #… is a set of dioramas that construct shallow spaces that record and collect the ephemera accumulated over an eighteen year period of studio work. Biorama# frames objects and metaphoric simulations reflecting relationships with my past, my family's history and my desires for the future.

These bodies of work coexist as metaphors for the erasure of personal identity. As layers of memory and reflexive spaces they spring from the archaeology of scientific collections that originated in the evolution of the museum.
